Rustic Pine Wood Slice Christmas Tree Ornaments

These are my beautiful rustic pine wood slice Christmas tree ornaments. The festive holiday season comes around quickly so be ready with decorations and presents for all this year! Four designs including a Candy Cane, “Squiggle” Christmas Tree, Snowflake, and a perennial favorite the Gonk/ Gnome.

Each ornament’s art work is designed by myself and engraved using a small router to achieve the detail shown. Using a router versus a laser allows the designs to have depth and a greater presence on the tree. This depth is accentuated by slightly charring the edges of the designs using a blow torch. After charring the wood each side is lightly sanded and natural bees wax polish is applied to seal it and enhance the wood’s colour.

Each design includes your choice of two hanging ribbon options; either Stewart Plaid or Buffalo Plaid. Each are quality 15mm wide, 2 sided printed ribbon (examples of each in photos).

Using the natural pine wood slices with bark attached along with the variable nature of using a blow torch creates some truly one of a kind ornaments for you to display proudly on your tree or in your home this year. These also make great secret Santa gifts too!

Please be mindful because this is a natural product, the wood slices vary in size from approximately 8.5cm to over 11 cm diameter and as you can see are not all perfectly round. I think that this only lends to their simple rustic charm. I love these and hope you do to!
